Kinsley's first week in the world was an incredible one. One that was filled with love, love, and more love! She experienced many firsts and continued to grow and change every single day! She came into the world as a natural eater and took to nursing right away! Within the first couple of days she was feeding every 3-4 hours...even at night! We were very blessed with those late night feeds and continue to be so! From day 1 she has been a super content baby who lets us know when she is hungry, sleepy, or stinky, but otherwise is super chill and snuggly!

She was as healthy and perfect as can be...she scored a 9 within 5 minutes after birth...nearly an unattainable 10 on her APGARs and the longest healthy fingernails I have ever seen on a newborn before for crying out loud ;)

Our first visit to the Pediatrician's office was that Monday...she is as healthy as can be and had already gained 2 ounces in 2 days from when we left the hospital...our healthy little nugget! Typically babies drop from their birth weight in the first couple of days...Kinsley had gone from 7.7 to 7.2 then by Monday she was up to 7.4...we were so proud of our little growing girl!
Our first full family photo...the puppies wanted in on this one...it so wasn't planned and they were hanging around so we had to snap a shot...so fun! The puppies have done so incredibly well in this transition...by the second night they were used to us getting up to feed and baby being around. They are incredibly calm around her and just go around and put their little face near where she is to "check on her"!

He says while he is holding her..."I don't just want to be her Uncle...I want to be her second dad...I wanna be there for everything!" Oh my sweet brother...he melts my heart!

This was an experience....kinda tricky for first time parents...but we made it through...it was definitely a 2 person job though! Love my sweet husband he has been my teammate through all of this!

Our little cupcake is 1 week old!
What a week full of excitement and pure joy...we soaked in every single minute!
