Livin' It Up in Louisiana

Kinsley took her first 'road trip' down south to the lovely state of Louisiana! We got her all snuggled up in her PJs fed and ready for bed! We were on the road by 7pm and drove through the night, which put us there by 2am or so! It was perfect because little Miss Kinsley slept the entire way and only woke 1 time to feed! She was a perfect road tripper!
We were headed there to introduce her to ALL of the extended family who were all already in love with her AND eat as many roast beef poboys as we could fit in! She loved meeting her Great Gramma (my Dad's Mom)...who could not believe how advanced she was for her age and was certain that Kinsley will be walking by 8 or 9 months!

Kinsley's Great Aunt Debbie made her laugh out loud with her silliness! Great Aunt Debbie made sure to spend lots of special time with her!

One day while we were there we spent a whole day in the Southern Southern area of Louisiana...some may call it Bayou Country! Kinsley had a chance to hang out and nap comfortably with lots of my mom's loved ones!
Kinsley's Great Aunt Dana had us over to her house for some fun and our favorite Wilson's Roast Beef PoBoys in Donner, Louisiana! Yum!
Kinsley had the chance to meet some of Great Aunt Dana's Grandchildren! Caleb and Hannah were as sweet as can be...they cuddled with her and held her so sweetly and gave us some laughs for sure!

Kinsley also had the chance to meet her Great Paw Norman! He was amazed by her sweet little self and savored every little moment with her!

Our sweet girl had a big day and had to nap on Mommy to get some good sleep...she is a busy body and LOVES to always know what's going on at every moment!

Great Uncle Michael had fun holding our little wiggle worm...he truly lit up when he had the chance to hold her!
Nanny Sandra had us over at her house for some delicious roast and all of the fixins'! I was in heaven with all of the delicious food!
Great Uncle David knows how to hold a baby on his knee for sure! How sweet is that?
Some of my sweet cousins had some fun with Kinsley! Allison held her while Hannah had the great idea to use an iPad for Kinsley to see herself! What a neat idea! I thought it was just the sweetest! I had so much joy watching them interact!
Here you can see Kinsley's excitement as she spots herself on the iPad!
Of course it was opening weekend for the NFL, so I had to doll Kinsley up for her Daddy to celebrate the Dallas Cowboys 1st Official Game of the Season! Sooo, I got busy making a tiny tutu for our little Cowboys Cheerleader! It was the perfect addition to her outfit from Mrs. Shannon!
Daddy loves his little football fan!

Mommy and her sweetness in her tiny tutu!

 Tutus ready for action!
Getting ready to head out for football watchin' with some friends...Gram didn't want to see her go (even just for a few hours) she made her laugh and laugh!
We headed over to the Santiago's casa to enjoy the games on the projection screen! Jeff loved every minute! We had the chance to meet the sweetest little Saints fan you will ever see...Miss Aria Blair! Of course I had to pop by a Lousisana Michael's to find some Saints ribbon to put the finishing touches on her tutu! Didn't they looks fabulous in their football fanciness!

Kinsley made herself right at home in Aria's bumbo chair...teething away on Sophie the Giraffe!
 Saints sweetie!
Pretty certain the cutest doggie Miss Dottie Mae...I just wanna take her home! She's perfect, and she is a Saints fan too!
Me and Annie and our little, tiny, tutued Cheerleaders!
Kinsley loved every last one of the family members she was able to spend time with! Poor baby was teething the whole time we were there...and come to find out actually cutting her first tooth during our trip, before she was even 4 months old!!!
Her Great Aunt Debbie and Great Uncle Chris loved watching her...she made them laugh and laugh!
Her Great Uncle Mark spent a lot of time visiting her and Kinsley spent a lot of time napping on Gram! Yes...she got a little spoiled but that is what Great Grandmas do! She was even cutting a tooth...so it made naps that much more comfortable for her!
Great Gramma had bought her this pretty pink robe and mailed it to us! She was dying to see a picture of her in it...so I did better than that! I brought it so we could put it on her and Gram could see her in person in it! What a bathrobe beauty!
My cousin Chad and his girlfriend Reagan made a special trip over to hold and snuggle with our little lady! It was a very special time for both them and us to share together! The timing couldn't have been more perfect! God works in mysterious ways! It really meant a lot to us for Chad and Reagan to come and spend some time with her before we left!
 Peek-a-Boo with Chad!

 So, so very sweet!
All in all the trip was jam packed with amazing memories! I was so busy indulging in all of my special moments with family I couldn't even capture all of its specialness! Our little lady was also cutting a tooth, so she needed a lot of extra TLC for that in addition to all of the constant stimulation she was surrounded with, which meant Mamma had to set the camera aside at times when I would have liked to be snapping moments! We were surrounded with so much love and it was such a neat experience to have the opportunity to introduce our little lovie to all of our loved ones in Louisiana! The happiness one baby can bring to the hearts of all who she comes in contact with is incredible!
We will surly cherish those moments forever!
