All is Merry and Bright...

So Jeff and I have been going Christmas Crazy! We have been so excited for the start of the Holiday Season. We bought some new icicle lights this year instead of putting up our other LED bulb lights. We did this for 2 reasons... 1. so that Jeff wouldn't have to risk his life on the high peaks of our house as in years past and 2. Just because icicle lights just add so much more excitement and light. In the past we never thought our house would look right with them, but we were pleasantly surprised! It looks awesome! Jeff just has one tricky level to add the finishing touches to!

In years past we have had 2 beloved and fun reindeer to light up and decorate our yard with; we have made some great holiday memories with them. They were even the stars of our White Christmas party the first Christmas in our house! However, this year Jeff had told me that the male reindeer was not his bright and shiny self this season and that though he had tried to fix him, he just wasn't so merry and bright this year! :( Sad day because we have loved them 'deerly' for 3 years! haha

Jeff explained to me that he was so bummed by this we would have to buy new ones...I had no idea his attachment to our reindeer was so strong! However, if you have ever tried to buy yard decor in the cool white color and not the traditional warm (yellow white) color...it is very difficult and the selection is thin. So, we thought we would never find anything to replace our 2 beloved friends. So, last night we bought some red light candy canes to help fill the void, and created a candy cane forest instead, along our newly brick/ stone landscaped front yard! It looks so great...and goes with our upcoming Gender Reveal Holiday Party theme quite nicely might I add ;)!

In the midst of us decorating our candy cane forest, I decided though she would be a lonely widow, we should still add our Merry and Bright doe to the yard decor. She was looking so dashing, when I thought, there has got to be a way to get the male working. I just had this ray of hope, despite Jeff's many failed attempts. As Jeff and I sat in the garage, he checked the fuses (which he had done before), as only boys know how to do ;) he made a few adjustments, and WALLA...the male reindeer lit up before our eyes...You should have seen our reaction in unison! It was like we had just won 1 million dollars! We were so excited! We merrily put him out in just the right position next to his dashing lady friend! It is so great to have our reindeer team back in action this season shining so brightly!

Meet Dasher...

 And Dancer!

Here is a sneak peek of the house so far...we still plan to add lights around the perimeter of the yard and more icicles on that upper level where the darkness is in the middle (and Jeff has to fix the little spot where the lights are not working on the peak), but it's 'Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas'! We had such a fun time adding our Candy Cane Forest and Dasher and Dancer to the yard in the dark last night haha! We laughed and had so much fun, you would have thought we were newlyweds who were having their very first Christmas in a new house! All it takes is some light up candy canes and our beloved Dasher to magically come back to life and we are silly and lovin' life late at night (well not that late...it was 8:30 haha but that's late for my pregnant self after a week of school and being sick) on a Friday night (even though I am still not 100% recovered from my sickness), but who can resist holiday decorating with the one you love on such a beautiful night!
**Disclaimer...I know the pics aren't the best...they are from the iPhone and the iPhone takes the best pics of lights and things like fireworks...even though they end up a little blurry...but you get the idea! I will add a picture soon of our finished work! :)

The inside of our house has looked equally as magical, merry and bright, as we decorated last weekend, the Sunday after Thanksgiving,so that we could
enjoy our Holiday Happiness for as long as possible!

Our last time to have only 2 stockings hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Baby Kiss will soon be here! I can't believe next Christmas we will have Baby Kiss to celebrate with, and fill their little stocking with the magic of the season!
And I am not goin' to lie...I already found a stocking for Baby Kiss (and a possible sibling...I bought 2) at the store to continue our White and Silver theme in the near future...those kind of continuing themed things are hard to come by, so you have to buy them when you see them! However, we are not planning on hanging it until Baby Kiss has made his or her arrival! :)
We even ordered NEW holiday collars for Bronx and Berkley! We picked out some super cute
Holiday Sock Monkey Collars...How fun and festive, right?!?

The Holiday Boxer Twins are ready to Ring in the Holiday with their new threads!
Berkley and Bronx looking fabulous in flawless Holiday Attire!
